My background is in nursing, sales and management, in the health, pharmaceutical and recruitment sectors and has involved a variety of functions, including training. I am also involved in EAP (Employee Assistance Programmes), which supports people in the workplace to deal with numerous issues in all aspects of life.

My community work has been varied and includes pastoral work. Paid or otherwise, all my work has been people focused because of my genuine interest in seeing individuals grow and realize their purpose and potential. I believe in the uniqueness and value of each individual. My numerous life experiences and roles, including wife, mother and grandmother, have provided me with the empathy and understanding for the variety of situations my client may be in, or have experienced.

Definitely People was birthed as a culmination of my desire to put my passion, skills, and experience to work, reflected in our statement “defining purpose and potential”. To qualify me and give me the tools to help people with their personal development I completed a Graduate Certificate in Career Development, a Certificate in Supervision and trained as an MBTI Practitioner. Membership of CPANZ and NZAPT keeps me on the cutting edge.
